Principal's Message

Welcome from our Principal

Welcome to the website of Ballinteer Educate Together National School. My name is Ruth Brennan and it is my privilege to lead teaching and learning in our vibrant school community.
Ballinteer ETNS is located in Parkvale, Balally, Dublin 16, and has been proudly serving our community since we first opened our doors in 2012. We are an equality-based, co-educational school under the patronage of Educate Together, and we are proud to welcome children from all backgrounds, faiths, and none. Our ethos is inclusive, child-centred, and democratic, and we place a strong emphasis on active partnership with our parents and guardians.
In September 2022, we were delighted to move into our beautiful new, purpose-built school building on a shared campus with St. Tiernan’s Community School. Today, Ballinteer ETNS is a two-stream primary school with 16 mainstream classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, as well as two dedicated autism classes.
We are proud of the warm, welcoming environment we have created, a place where every child is valued, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
