It has been a busy first term settling in to our new school for 2nd Class. We have got used to our new surroundings, learned about our locality and taken a trip to the library for a cartoon workshop with the author Úna Woods. We’ve also been doing lots of report writing about different mammals and we’ve taken time to draw many of them too. Time was also spent investigating the many different things that make up soil along with looking at different samples of soils to spot the different layers. On a nature walk to the River Slang we stopped to enjoy the snow. We are looking forward to the Winter Holidays and we’re excited for 2023!
