Well 2018 has been very busy so far here in Senior Infants! During January we started Literacy stations and we are loving all of the activities, from using the iPads to working with Ciara on the P.A.T. Programme. We even started D.E.A.R. Time and really enjoy picking our own books and reading independently.
We have also shared books with our new Reading Buddies, Aongus’s Fourth Class.
In Maths we have been playing active learning games and here we are having great fun!
Unfortunately we have to say ‘farewell’ to the Healthy Eating Café but our next topic is Space and the Solar System so ‘watch this space’! We have cooked up so many nutritious meals and written so many delicious menus that our start to the New Year has been a very healthy one.
As we say ‘goodbye’ to winter and ‘hello’ to spring we have many things to look forward to so stay tuned for more exciting news from the Senior Infants!
