We have implemented the Playworks’ Program in our yard this term. Playworks provides structure to the playground and yard time. Children from the older classes act as ‘coaches’ in a wide variety of games.
This encourages inclusion, participation, social interaction and also allows the children an opportunity to develop their independent problem solving skills.
The children have been loving this program so far, and has proven very successful!
